I'm married to a WONDERFUL man named Joshua Lee Smith. He is the love of my life and I don't know what I'd do without him.
We met in college at Northland Baptist Bible College where we had a constantly changing relationship. (ie: friends one minute, enemies the next.) We had been friends for 5 years when Josh decided that he wanted to date me. (I had liked him for FOREVER, but was waiting for him to like me in return.) So, we started dating on May 8th of 2004. We were both working as Camp Staff at Northland Camp that summer. I was on Full-Time Staff in the Technology Department and he was Summer Staff. We had an awesome summer and knew that it was DEFINITELY the Lord's will for us to be together.
At the end of the summer, Josh moved to Florida to live with his parents for a while and I stayed in Wisconsin. We talked constantly, and counted the days until we would be together again. I went to Florida in October to visit Josh.
My trip to Florida was great, and we made the best of all the time we had together. While I was there, Josh took me out to Dinner on October 2nd to Olive Garden. We had to wait for about 30 minutes for our table so we sat in the car and waited. I could tell something was on Josh's mind, but I didn't know what. At one point during our wait we almost left to go for a drive for a while and then come back to eat later. We finally got our table and had a great dinner. After dinner, we went for a drive to the beach. We were walking along on the beach when Josh asked me to be his wife! I said yes!!! (Of course.)
The next six months were very busy for us!! Josh moved back to Wisconsin in November and lived with my parents for a while during his job search. I moved home in December as my time at Northland was complete.
We were married on April 2nd of 2005. We had a wonderful wedding. The day was beatiful and amazingly enough, the snow was all melted. Here are some pictures of our wedding. We honeymooned in St. Louis, MO and then came back home to jump into married life!

and I live in Wausau, WI now. We have a two-bedroom apartment in a very
small town called Brokaw. I work as an Administrative Assistant for
the Marketing Department at Ministry Health Care
. Basically, I do tons of scheduling and help with projects that people
need help with. Josh is working for a small company called Excell-Tec.
He is a Macintosh & PC Technician. They do work for smaller
companies that cannot afford to have a full-time IT staff.
We are also very involved in our church. Currently we attend Park City Baptist Church in Merrill, WI. Josh is the Choir Director as well as the Youth Leader. Our newest role is as the Children's Church teachers. We also help out in many different ways which change by the week!
We do not know where life is going to take us in the future. Please pray with us as we would like to go work for a Ministry somewhere. We are waiting for the Lord to show us His will!
